I noticed the north american servers are up now and I've been considering buying Darkfall but I want to know from those who do have it (is anyone even playing anymore it appears to be dead?) what they think of it.
Specific things I want to know about would be gameplay, graphics, lag, performance and the population(For example, I dont want to play a game with only 40 people playing)

the game was fun while i had time to play it. There were a lot of people playing at the time and raiding was kick ass. The game is not what you would call a "mainstream" rpg like a wow makeover game but it was definitely fun and reminded me of RYL. Sadly not that many people play any more but there was some talk of a resurgence of subscribers. I would definitely give it a try, if not then wait for people to resubscribe again then give it a try. The only negative i can think of is traveling can be kinda gay seeing the map is so goddamn huge but you'll get used to it.

dont no why people keep saying there isnt many people playing anymore........the eu server is still populated, we just had a 100v 100 fight, and every city you go to will inleast have 10 to 30 actives along with about 40 inactives......

I don't think I have the time or the heart for any more MMO's. I wish I could just take the best parts of all the MMO's I ever played but in reality, I don't think I'll ever find one to satisfy me. |

well this one actually looks promising, there is litterly no grind really for combat skills, its not like darkfall where you have to grind up your masterys to be competitive, cant say mutch with the nda but this one if they can pull it off will be a pks heaven!!...also you can run around naked with your shlong floppin around..and strait mushroom stamp people you just killed, its quite amusing

Randomly though, while I'm here; somewhat interested in the game style of DF. is it still going pretty strong, game wise and guild wise? oh and is there any trial type thing going on?

Ranker man how the fuck are ya lol! I haven't been playing any game for a looong ass time! as i gave my 2k pc away to someone for Paragliding lessons worth £2000. I have my pc back now though as he was banned from teaching people without insurance not good, Darkfall meh i heard its gone pretty quiet, and as for Mortal Online! damn im in it as beta tester and i can say the game doesn't look at all impressive! I dont know how far in on the beta they are but shit it is really bad, Naked men and women to start off with is sickening not good at all, and graphics are crappy.
Im with ranker on the MMOS i dont know a MMO that will satisfy me at all, Aion online sucks bad! and is painfill from level 29+ having to get 5 million xp from level 29 is mad at level 40 its got to be 20million xp or close to it, quests are minimum and you find your self grinding solid on mobs every 4 levels or so. So for those who like the look of Aion its a very pretty game! but the game play sucks and pvp is similar to that of Darkfall only though you get to keep all your stuff..

darkfalls shaping up pretty nicelyagain, I started a new charcter to see how fast shit levels up and its pretty insane at this point...and the NA server transfers are free, so their is finnaly good fkn ping
