I got there relatively early on a saturday the last show. i usually go sunday, if you need ammo saturday is the day to go. i may pass on this one. i need some 308 m14 pouches and i think Reno may have what i need, it seems like all you can get are 223 pouches.
*off subject, i finally got a notebook, aspire one 10 inch. it's great for what i need to do. 160gig hd, 1gig memory. $300 @ Costco =]

you did? or not go to the cow palace? man it turned out a beautiful day to go today. i passed on it, next time. funds are still being diverted on some plumbing issues here before we put home on the rental market. i have checked cabellas, good stuff, ill have to check out scheels, never heard of the place. yep, my wife has hijacked this notebook, lol. umm, i use it just for email and this stuff on the forums, like today i am out by my pool with some coffee, is nice to be out in the freshair writing for a change. some web surfing articles and gun forums. for $300 this was great, aspire one 10' screen. i can also use it to log in to my security camera system in real time, that was the main reason i got this. surprisingly i expected mucho lag but for what it is there isn't v much. it's a good little notebook. now me can join the crew at starbucks and blend in, lol. very portable, stashable under the car seat =] costco is hard to beat w/a stick. their return policy is good to, beats best buy any day. rion link=topic=9538.msg83970#msg83970 date=1268603968] I got there relatively early on a saturday the last show. i usually go sunday, if you need ammo saturday is the day to go. i may pass on this one. i need some 308 m14 pouches and i think Reno may have what i need, it seems like all you can get are 223 pouches.

lol...ususally i get my coffee and head back for home projects. maybe i'll start a open-carry clan there! don't tread on me t-shirt and all. but yeah garion, the acer is pretty cool, not for seriouse gaming, just surfing and emails. quote author=Garion link=topic=9538.msg83983#msg83983 date=1268645881] you did? or not go to the cow palace? man it turned out a beautiful day to go today. i passed on it, next time. funds are still being diverted on some plumbing issues here before we put home on the rental market. i have checked cabellas, good stuff, ill have to check out scheels, never heard of the place. yep, my wife has hijacked this notebook, lol. umm, i use it just for email and this stuff on the forums, like today i am out by my pool with some coffee, is nice to be out in the freshair writing for a change. some web surfing articles and gun forums. for $300 this was great, aspire one 10' screen. i can also use it to log in to my security camera system in real time, that was the main reason i got this. surprisingly i expected mucho lag but for what it is there isn't v much. it's a good little notebook. now me can join the crew at starbucks and blend in, lol. very portable, stashable under the car seat =] costco is hard to beat w/a stick. their return policy is good to, beats best buy any day. rion link=topic=9538.msg83970#msg83970 date=1268603968] I got there relatively early on a saturday the last show. i usually go sunday, if you need ammo saturday is the day to go. i may pass on this one. i need some 308 m14 pouches and i think Reno may have what i need, it seems like all you can get are 223 pouches.

lol yeah for sure...unless you're playing flash games on the net hahaha.....but its sure is nice for mobility...i should requisition one for business trips =)...beats lugging my 18" monster around.....hrm that sounds weird outta context....
meh don't do the open carry....the whole point to carrying is that its concealed...i think the open carry movement is a bit naive...especailyl since those folks never do it where it matters....bayview hunters point? richmond's iron triangle? west oakland tower slums?...nope..they do it in sunnyvale, walnut creek, and burlingame...i mean the only danger you have there is getting stuck in a endless conversation about the economy with a yuppie i-banker....you knows?

these guys packing at starbucks are techo-yuppie types, booboo. if i felt the need to pack the first thing i ask myself, do i need to pack, why and do i really need to go. but sometimes i do just on a gut feeling. i used to pack concealed when taking my bulldog to the park after work in the late eves, once to the bay to breakers in s.f. i guess with the tea party movement there has been a spike in gun rights, making statements. large coffe there is now $2.00, i'm a regular at one particular starbucks, if it isn't fresh they give me a free large coffee. =]

http://www.acer.com/aspireone/aspireone_8_9/ only color they had at the time was dark blue. garion, for email or surfing interwebz it is great. youtube stuff works just as good. a detective was checking mine out today and thought it was cool. we were viewing a recording on my security cameras and it surprised him. for $300 at Costco, a good deal. yeah i think imma get the asus netbook for my mom (same one i got for my gf)...but ill take a look at that acer first (just had a previously bad impression of them before =P...how you liking yours so far? no probs?)....

yeah Costco.com has some great security set ups, and reasonable. which is exactly where i got mine, mine are ' q-see ' check out q-see.com, a four channel, four camera system, they work awesome. you can't make out license plates unless they are in your driveway, but to keep an eye out on your stuff. last week my neighbors pu got stolen, the thief walked right by my cameras, i made a copy of the whole incident on a flash drive and the detectives loved it. i had to get a wireless router to get mine to view over the internet with my notebook. i am not sure how the wireless camera systems are, you may want to look into them, ask around. the pain for me was roping the camera cable through the attic and down to the dvd, and out to the cameras. yeah, they are cool if you have a need for them. i can watch my pad from starbucks or out of town. **garion, what i do is, i view my cameras through my pc montor and minimize screen when doing other stuff on internet. the system i have comes with software to log in to view through your home pc or laptop when away. or you can get a seperate monitor. http://www.q-see.com/products/security-product.php?ProductId=198http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11492870&whse=BC&Ne=4000000&eCat=BC mine is simular to this but, i only need a four channel setup.
